Application Criteria: Malin Asset Management

What we look for first

Clear proof that you've paid your rent on time and in full for the last 6 months. We're experts at spotting altered or falsified documents, and we verify every receipt, ledger and bank statement we receive.

Every application also needs

• A credit score of at least 620 for every adult on the application
• Household income of at least 2.5 times the rent
• At least your 3 most recent original pay stubs
• At least 3 months of original bank statements
• Your government-issued photo ID and a second form of ID, shown in person to our staff at the showing and when you apply
• Original, unaltered documents only

Housing vouchers and rental assistance

If you use a housing voucher or other rental assistance, the income requirement applies only to your share of the rent. You may also ask us to review other proof of your ability to pay in place of your credit history. We'll consider it, but it does not replace any of the other requirements above, including clear proof of 6 months of on-time, in-full rent payments.
