1) Does Re/Max Haven PMD have any automatic disqualifiers for an applicant?
Our office requires that all of our applicants make a minimum of three times the rent amount in gross monthly income. This income must be verifiable, reported & documented. Any evictions, judgments or liens within the last 5 years or an open bankruptcy on your credit report will also result in denial. You're welcome to call into the customer service line (during normal business hours) if you have any other questions in regards to our application process or requirements.
2) How long do your leases last? Do you offer short term leases?
Unfortunately, we do not offer any short term lease agreements. All of our leases are 12 month / 1 year initially, unless noted in the property description that a longer lease term is available. But 12 months is the shortest lease option we offer.
3) What utilities am I going to be responsible for?
Typically (unless noted otherwise on the property advertisement) - our residents in multi-family homes or apartments are responsible for gas & electric utilities and snow removal. Our single family residents are responsible for all utilities (gas, electric, water/sewer/trash) and lawn care & snow removal. Each property advertisement will specify and you can always call the customer service line or ask your leasing agent at your scheduled showing if you have any further questions.
4) How long does it take for me to get my application results back?
All applicants must visit https://havenrealty.petscreening.com to certify their pet, assistance animal or to attest that they do not have a pet. Your application will be processed once we have received your application and PetScreening back. No exceptions. We are open Monday-Friday, and it typically takes 12-24 hours to get results back from Resolve Partners, who runs the background, credit and eviction check for our applicants. That is the typical turn around time once the PetScreen and application have been completed.
