Arrive South Loop is a solid pick if you want to be in the thick of the McCormick Place side of the neighborhood without the noise of downtown proper. You can grab your morning cup at Momentum Coffee a few minutes away, and Reggies Music Joint plus its Trainwreck rooftop deck are right there when you want live music or a drink outside. Margaret Hie Ding Lin Park is a short walk for green space, and Wintrust Arena is close enough to walk to a game. The Cermak-McCormick Place Green Line stop is about six minutes out for an easy ride into the Loop, and there is a full Mariano's roughly thirteen minutes away for real grocery runs.
